PRIVATE LESSONS AT OVATION ACADEMY
Ovation Academy for the Performing Arts offers both in-person and virtual private lessons for children and adults in piano, voice, guitar, ukelele, dance and acting. Ovation offers 30min, 45min and 60min lessons. Lessons can be scheduled Monday – Sunday and are available for sign up year round. PRIVATE LESSON OFFERINGS
Private Voice Lessons
Learn how to sing properly and effectively. Private voice lessons concentrate on vocal heath, range, note accuracy, breath control, head vs chest voice and other techniques vital to the development of control and range in their voice.
Private Dance Lessons
Private dance lessons are available for any style of dance.
Private Acting Lessons
Personal coaching sessions are available for all actors! Whether you are exploring a character in a current production, preparing a monologue for your next big audition, working on copy from your agent, preparing for a public speech or looking for on-camera coaching, we can design a personal session to fit your needs.
Musical Instrument Lessons
Learn to play piano, guitar, ukelele, or even how to do sound recording.

PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Parent Portal
Ovation uses Teachworks, a private lesson scheduling software, to manage bookings and payment for private lessons. Parents will be invited to log into their client account to schedule and pay for lessons. To request a parent portal login, please click here.
Payment
Payment for Private Lessons is due prior to the lesson and should be done through the Ovation office – NOT the instructor. Private lesson payment may be made by cash, check, or through our Teachworks parent portal. Checks may be made payable to Ovation Academy. Please email Managing Director, Corinne Neal at corinne@ovationacademy.org if special payment terms are needed.
Scheduling, Cancellation and Make-up Policy
Once you are matched with an instructor, you’ll be asked to create a parent account in our Teachworks booking software. This will allow you to request and book lessons, track package usage, pay via credit card, and communicate with your private lesson instructor.
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If proper notice is given, lessons may be rescheduled without penalty. Lessons cancelled without 24 hours notice, or missed entirely, are ineligible for make-up credit and you will be charged for the missed lesson. No refunds are given for missed lessons. Ovation Academy has the right to cancel a lesson in the event an instructor becomes sick or unavailable. Credit will be offered for any lessons cancelled by the instructor.
