ENCORE
Encore is designed to provide high school level performers with an opportunity to participate in the thrill of a Broadway-style production. Encore shows bring together young people from diverse backgrounds and provide them with an inspiring environment where they can immerse themselves in musical theater and discover new talents.
Ever since 2021 with the student-directed production of Spring Awakening, the Spring Encore show has been dedicated to providing the opportunity for high school students and recent graduates to take the reins. Students are able to direct, choreograph, music direct, and design fully produced musicals with their peers, and with guidance and mentorship from Ovation’s leadership.
Encore typically consists of a Spring production and a Summer Intensive. In 2023-24, Encore also participated in JTF Atlanta – learn more here.
